HEALTH & SAFETY
MAC Pitman takes Health and Safety very seriously and has committed a great deal of resources, both financial and management to pursue a policy of continuing improvement.
It is the policy of the Company to ensure, so far as is reasonably practical the health, safety and welfare of its employees while they are at work and of others who may be affected by their undertakings, and to comply with the health and safety at work Act 1974, and other allied relevant legislation as appropriate.
MAC Pitman has appointed G R Safety Management Ltd to advise on all health and safety matters.
Together we have produced a Safety, Health & Environmental Policy which reflects this commitment and can be viewed at the Company premises.
All our employees' training needs are periodically reviewed to ensure it is consistent with industry standards. Our employees are 100% CPCS card holders actively working towards completing their NVQ Level 1 and each supervisor has completed the IOSH two day Working Safely course and, more recently, MAC Pitman's entire workforce has successfuly completed their First Aid training.
